Additional Information: Looking for a quote ASAP on shipping a standard 44" upright piano and bench from Gainesville, FL to Mankato, MN. I need the quote ASAP but there is no urgency on actual delivery of the piano (within reason.) I have made a 50% deposit on this piano but need to get a good shipping price before I can close the deal. The piano is located on the main floor at the origin house with no steps. At my home in MN there are four outside steps and then it's a straight shot to its destination on the main floor about 15' from the front entry. I can help with getting it into the house if necessary. I need a complete quote including insurance for at least $3500, appropriate padding, in-home delivery, etc. My wife is getting very anxious to get her piano, so the sooner I get a quote the sooner I can live in peace again. Response: YES! My wife (and I'm sure the person with the piano) would both be thrilled beyond measure. Give me your bottom line and we'll go from there. (Best offer I've had so far is $825 but the wait was going to be longer than I like. But cost is just as important as wait time, if not moreso.) (10/13/2005)
